That video is a short clip from a longer movie called Zeitgeist. You think that 9 minutes was scary? You should see what the producers packed into 2 hours......

The movie is a bit flawed. [ understatement ] For example, the Paul Warburg who was quoted in the video? He died 18 years before the alleged speech from which he is "quoted". That must have been an interesting speech.

• If "Warburg" sounds like "Warbucks" (as in Little Orphan Annie's "Daddy Warbucks") - there's a good reason: the Daddy Warbucks character was based on Paul Warburg .
• The parts about Warbucks - I mean Warburg's - involvement in the Federal Reserve System and the Council on Foreign Relations are true

The Federal Reserve System - designed and promoted by Daddy Warburg - has not proven to be the end of life as we know it in the USA. In fact,

Trust me on this, there are hundreds more events that worked out very well for people richer and more powerful than you & I....

Consider the irony that when I say that the danger to America is not from outside forces, but rather from within, people assume that I'm a Liberal who hates Republicans and wants to cut-and-run so that YOU will be fighting terrorists in the cereal aisle at Safeway?

Then along comes this movie, talking about the secrets of

• 9-11
• a phony "War on Terror"
• never-ending "wars" in Iraq and Afghanistan
• "searching" in caves for guys who aren't there
• Federal ID cards with RFID chips......

I think of myself as a Recovering Republican (more on that later).

I have become somewhat enlightened. Now I am trying to heal my wounded soul - the one that for so many years harbored an arrogant pr#$k.

My imaginary friend - he's on the committee inside my head - is still in denial. As such, he can't break away from the party line.

• jobs with good pay scales, medical benefits, retirement plans, paid holidays, and paid vacation
• safe working conditions
• mandatory workers' compensation for job-related injuries
• the right to join unions


• Finance:
• insured bank accounts
• affordable mortgages because of underwriting provided by Fannie Mae, FHA, and Veterans' Administration
• social security
• social security
• an economy with regulations that minimize wide boom-and-bust swings


• Infrastrucure:
• public transportation
• public roads
• nation-wide electrification
• publicly funded and maintained parks and other recreation facilities


• Government:
• reduced numbers of non-defense federal employees

• keep government out of our churches

• equal treatment under the law

I say we should go back to the good old days where men were men and where wimmen knew their place and where dark-skinned people went back to their own countries and left America to REAL Americans.
